About this Program

The Manufacturing Engineering Technology AAS degree program provides training for those seeking a career in engineering and engineering technology in support of metal fabrication, plastics processing, and consumer products manufacturing and assembly.

Essential Skills: quality assurance and process control, evaluation of safety rules and regulations, additive manufacturing monitoring and measurement of manufacturing processes, application of 3D design software, lean manufacturing, application of engineering principles to design for manufacturability.

Typical Work Tasks: analyze engineering design problems, analyze effectiveness of safety systems or procedures, use drafting or mechanical drawing techniques, use technical information in manufacturing or industrial activities.
