Saint Paul, MN - Governor Dayton is asking for applicants to serve as members of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) Board of Trustees. The Board governs the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and its related property in an effort to meet the needs of students for occupation, general, baccalaureate, and graduate education.

Board members are responsible for system planning, academic programs, fiscal management, personnel, admissions requirements, tuition and fees, and rules and regulations.

Governor Dayton appoints four members to serve six-year terms. A Second Congressional District seat and a Sixth Congressional District seat are available as well as two at-large seats. Congressional district seats are as established by the 2000 census.

Those interested in serving should submit an "Open Appointments" application along with a letter of interest and a resume for consideration to the board.
