Presidents at each institution have defined at least one Security Manager for each institution. These designees are responsible for assigning rights to other individuals on campus who are responsible for granting access to roles and groups, called Approval Managers. (Approval managers were formerly referred to as an authorized signer.) Approval managers are the on-campus administrators in each respective area, like Admissions, Finance, or HR. The Security Managers for each institution are set up by the Security Administrators at the System Office.
