FREE and FEE membership - The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), is a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association serving the structural steel design community and construction industry. Technical resources, including design manuals, code and white papers are available, as well as teaching resources for instructors.

American Plywood Association
FREE - the Engineered Wood Association (APA) is a nonprofit trade association that works with its members to create best in class structural wood products. Combining the research efforts of scientists and engineers, APA promotes new solutions and improved processes that benefit the entire industry.  Registration required for APA publications, but videos, images and webinars are available without logging in.

American Wood Council
FREE and FEE - The American Wood Council supports the utilization of wood products by developing and disseminating consensus standards, comprehensive technical guidelines, and tools for wood design and construction. Organization supports live contact for training, as well as free independent online learning.

Associated General Contractors of America
FEE and FREE - AGC of America offers news articles, meeting and event information, construction podcasts, and networking opportunities through a new communication hub. Education programs and training resources are available for core construction professional/construction organization topics as well.

Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry
FREE and FEE - Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI) represents companies and organizations in the acoustics systems, ceiling systems, drywall systems, exterior insulation and finish systems, fireproofing, insulation, prefabrication/panelization and stucco industries. Online learning, certifications, publications and technical resource links are available.

FEE - The Brick Industry Association (BIA) is a members only organization that promotes and safeguards the clay brick industry. Includes online training, a certification program through the Brick University program, market research and advertising, and technical research and publications.

Gypsum Association
FREE and FEE - The Gypsum Association promotes the use of gypsum, while advancing the gypsum industry in the United States and Canada. Technical videos, FAQs, technical assistance, tutorials and continuing education, as well as a library of technical publications and standards are available through the Technical Center.

National Fire Protection Association
FREE and FEE for membership - The National Fire Protection Association is the leading information and knowledge resource on fire, electrical and related hazards. Includes codes and standards, electrical solutions, news and research, and training.

National Roofing Contractors Association
FREE - NRCA is one of the construction industry's most respected trade associations and the voice of roofing professionals and leading authority in the roofing industry for information, education, technology and advocacy. It represents all segments of the roofing industry, including contractors, manufacturers, distributors, architects, consultants, engineers, building owners, and city, state and government agencies.

Natural Stone Institute
FEE - The Natural Stone Institute offers a wide array of technical and training resources, professional development opportunities, regulatory advocacy, and networking events. Company accreditation is available, and publications raise awareness within the natural stone industry and design community for best practices and uses of natural stone.

PhET: Free online physics, biology, chemistry, Earth science and math
FREE - PhET simulations, using graphics and measurement instruments, provide interactive, research-based simulations for STEM education. Includes a process to create your lesson plans integrating the simulation, and real world examples of instructors using the simulations in the classroom.

USDA: Soils Education
FREE - U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service - Soils, is part of the National Cooperative Soil Survey, an effort of Federal and State agencies, universities, and professional societies to deliver science-based soil information. Includes age appropriate videos and webinars, soil maps and learning materials.

Western Wood Products Association
FREE and FEE for membership and some services - Supported by Western lumber manufacturers, WWPA supports sawmills and lumber product users. Key coverage areas: quality assurance - inspection services, grader training and certification; technical services - code compliance, lumber types, design values and troubleshooting; and market services - statistical reports, trade statistics and average prices.

FREE - The Window & Door Manufacturers Association promotes, protects and advances the use of high performance, high quality windows, doors and skylights. On-demand education is available, including webinars on industry and technical topics, standards and certification.
