The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Center for Teaching and Learning has been awarded a $325,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan, to develop a series of leadership workshops for MnSCU faculty and administration. The workshops will provide opportunities for study and training in transformational leadership, particularly in the areas of curriculum, assessment, enrollment, technology and international education. The two-year project will include an in-depth research project on a specific problem or issue identified by the participant, a year-long mentorship program within which participants will explore the identified problem and participation in workshops created to facilitate dialogue and understanding of higher education challenges and issues.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation was established in 1930 to help people help themselves through the practical application of knowledge and resources to improve their quality of life and that of future generations.
