Financial Health and Compliance Indicators

The Financial Health and Compliance Indicator procedure was developed, approved and became fully effective in fiscal year 2012. This procedure replaces the Exception Reporting procedure.

The procedure identifies several short and long term factors regarding the financial health of an institution, including the composite financial index, or CFI. Another key factor identified for use in this procedure is negative operating losses.
