About this Program

The department offers a graduate program that leads to the Master of Arts in Art, a degree that requires 30 credits weighted toward an involvement in the student's chosen studio area. Specializations in ceramics, drawing, fibers, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture are all offered. Applications for this program require a portfolio of the creative work of the applicant (slides or electronic media compatible with Macintosh computers are acceptable) in addition to the application materials required by the College of Graduate Studies and Research.
