About this Program

This program provides the student with a background in inorganic, organic, biophysical, biological, physical and analytical chemistry. The Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society. Prospective secondary (grades 7-12) teachers who plan to teach chemistry more than half-time must fulfill coursework requirements for a State of Minnesota licensure to teach up to full-time by completing a broad Science major and a credit sequence in professional education.
