MnSCU 2016 IT Conference: Charting the Future, Partnering for Students

Minnesota State leadership, the IT Conference 2018 Planning team, presenters and attendees alike, all recognize the role the vendors have played in the successful delivery of the IT Conferences, for the past several years! Vendors play a vital role in enhancing the conference by providing the latest and greatest information from innovative and emerging technologies to best practices.

This conference brings together campus IT staff from across the system to share best practices and discuss ways to leverage IT resources, along with other scarce campus resources, to deliver high quality educational services to students, faculty, staff, communities and businesses.

One important change for this year’s Conference is that the period of time on Tuesday morning April 24th following the keynote session is being reserved for short vendor provided “Shopping Track” sessions.  These 30 minute sessions will provide your company the opportunity to provide a focused session on a particular product(s) or service(s).   We will be providing for a total of 20 such sessions over four different intervals (5 sessions each interval).  This approach will allow for at least 50 minutes set up time for presenters in their designated rooms.

The Vendor Exhibit Hall will be open throughout Tuesday morning as well and a small plates lunch buffet will be held in the Vendor Exhibit Hall to allow one more opportunity for attendees and vendors to visit.

To submit a Shopping Track session proposal, submit your presentation proposal by January 23, 2018 on Guidebook. (Unfortunately, we can't accept proposals submitted after the due date.) Vendors that are selected for these sessions will be required to reserve a booth in the Vendor Exhibit Hall.

Vendor Exhibition Setup: Monday, April 23rd from 12:00 - 4:00 PM.

Exhibition Hall and Registration: Monday, April 23rd from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.

The Minnesota State code of conduct prohibits employees from accepting gifts beyond a nominal value; employees are expected to abide by the following Board Procedure 1C.0.1 Employee Code of Conduct (Subpart B)
