- With a teaching career that spans over a 30-year period, Dr. Davenport has received several teaching excellence awards and earned tenure and full professor rank before entering academic administration on a full-time basis. In his administrative roles, Dr. Davenport has emphasized teaching excellence, scholarly work, and promotion of student learning as primary goals for faculty.
