Inside Out: An Anatomy and Health Experience

Inside out is a full day of exploration in how our organs keep us alive and how we can keep them healthy. Students will learn about the heart, lungs, and kidneys, dissect each to learn about function, health, and why researchers are interested in them.

College Is For Me

College is for Me is a college readiness program preparing first generation and English language learners for what college is all about. Students will explore college resources, services, activities as well as learn study skills, explore academic and personal goals and connect with fellow students.

  • Dates: June 5-6, 8-9, 12-13, 15-16
  • Ages: High school seniors graduating in May

Scrubs Camp

Join Minnesota West Community & Technical College and Avera Granite Falls Health Center for a FREE Allied Health Scrubs Camp offered to high school juniors, seniors and non-traditional students looking for healthcare career exploration. Programs showcased: Radiologic Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, Surgical Technology, Nursing, Dental Assistant.

Technology and Trades on the Prairie

The Career Institute is designed to create an awareness for students of all the career opportunities available in southwest Minnesota focused on technology and trades. It also provides unique hands-on, project based, experiential learning opportunities for students to explore, experience, and become exposed to the skills needed for our workforce, today and tomorrow.
