MnSCU - AKITA CAMPUS
BACKGROUND
Chancellor Judith Eaton visited the Akita campus from June 24-29, 1996, and met with Japanese and American students, Akita faculty and administration, members of the Akita advisory board and key community and government leaders. The chancellor's October 7, 1996, memo to the Board of Trustees lists the key strengths, key concerns, and a recommendation to continue the Akita campus.
RECOMMENDATION
The Board of Trustees accepts Chancellor Eaton's report and approves the recommendation listed on her visit to the Akita Campus in June 1996.
