Director of Student Services

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination, management and leadership for campus student services;
  • Assist campus academic and student services officer in development of curriculum ideas;

  • Knowledge of supervision, organizational and operational management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of the Integrated Statewide Records System (ISRS) and working knowledge of modules related to student service delivery (enrollment, admissions, registration, financial aid).
  • Working knowledge of technology and technology-based delivery services.
  • Organize, conduct and participate in meetings, events and other special projects.
  • Ability to plan, organize and administer activities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Student Services Personnel or related area is preferred. 
  • Experience of 3 – 5 years in student services related position is desirable.

Computerized Integrated Machining Lab Assistant

Responsibilities:
Supervise open lab for Computer Integrated Machining program on the South Central College Faribault campus.

  • Assist in lab preparation
  • Provide opportunities for practicing program application theory
  • Assist students in meeting standards
  • Assist in decision making process, communicate with instructors
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and computer software
  • Maintain first aid station and various safety devices
  • Coordinate lab cleanliness to maintain safety
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary or industry certificate/diploma/degree or relevant licensure in Computer Integrated Machining, OR
  • 6 months of teaching/tutoring experience in Computer Integrated Machining at the high school level or above OR
  • 2 years of work experience in Computer Integrated Machinging where no degree/certificate/diploma/licensure is required OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science degree preferred AND a minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in computer integrated machining.
  • Para-professional laboratory work.
