Recent graduate Nhat Nguyen loved her Century College experience. She had returned to school as an adult learner after taking time off to work. “I chose Century’s Nursing program because it’s really well respected. Also, I was working full-time, and the program’s flexibility allowed for that. All of the instructors were intelligent and encouraging—and concerned with our overall well-being.”

With the onset of the worldwide pandemic, Century College Nursing instructors nimbly adapted their courses. “This past spring, Century College faculty worked hard to convert everything online, and it worked out well.”

The Nursing program is rigorous, and Nhat thrived in that environment. She offers the following advice for potential Nursing students: “Try to get experience working in health care first, before you dive into the program, so you’ll know what to expect. It’s demanding, but well worth it.” After working as a Nursing Assistant in the ICU at St. Joseph’s hospital while in school, Nhat recently accepted an RN position in the hospital’s Neuro-Telemetry Unit. She has a passion for public health and plans to work at a women’s clinic in the future.

“My Century College experience was amazing and set me up for a good future. I’m happy I chose Century College,” Nhat said.
