The Academic Planning and Collaboration Workgroup was convened to explore and research additional considerations from the Charting the Future (CTF) Academic Programs & Collaboration team. The original strategies and final recommendations proposed by the original APC team will be reviewed and prioritized with a final set of recommendations forwarded to the Vice Chancellor of Academic & Student Affairs by May 1, 2016.
Charge:
The Academic Planning and Collaboration (APC) workgroup will explore and research additional considerations related to the workgroup’s original charge to:
- Develop a collaborative and coordinated academic planning process that advances affordability, transferability and access to our programs and services across the state.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review original strategies proposed to the Charting the Future academic planning and collaboration group, as well as that workgroup’s final report of recommendations.
- Engage Academic & Student Affairs councils and other stakeholders to inform final recommendations.
- Make priority recommendations to the vice chancellor for academic & student affairs no later than May 1, 2016. The vice chancellor will forward a final set of recommendations to the Leadership Council.
Scope:
- In scope: Recommending priorities for academic planning and collaboration at the system level, especially through consideration of work done over last two years by Charting the Future groups.
- Out of scope: Implementation of specific academic planning and collaboration initiatives.
Member Appointments:
The APC Work Group is comprised of representatives from faculty, staff, administrators, students, and system office staff within academic and student affairs.
