The Student Support Technologies workgroup was convened to address recommendations put forward by the CTF Student Success Team regarding technologies to support student retention and completion. The workgroup will inventory existing resources and services used on campus and determine common needs. The group will put forward their report on technology needs and products, including recommendations to the Vice Chancellor of Academic & Student Affairs by May 1st, 2016.
The Student Support Online Technologies workgroup will evaluate existing resources and services used for student retention and completion (e.g., CRM system for early alert and advising, graduation planner, predictive analytics) and develop recommendations for systemwide adoption.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with colleges and universities to complete an inventory of existing college/university resources and services used for student retention and completion.
- Identify gaps and best approaches.
- Engage Academic & Student Affairs councils and other stakeholders.
- Make recommendations to the vice chancellors for academic & student affairs and information technology services no later than May 1, 2016.

- Scan the landscape for available resources and services, potentially initiating a Request for Information, as appropriate.
- Identify common approach for assessing core needs based on shared understanding of student success.
