Lake Superior College Summer Camps
Academic Camps
Computer Aided Design (CAD)/SolidWorks + Revit
Camp participants will be using software to design and draw product parts and building system elements. This is one of the initial processes in manufacturing and building design. Using SolidWorks, you will first draw a 3D model and transfer it into a 2D drawing with views and dimensions appropriate for shop production. Revit will be used to lay out a building and add various elements such as walls, windows, structure, and piping. Various CAD software programs, 3D printing, and related industry jobs will be demonstrated and explored.
