Academic Camps
America's Cutting Edge (ACE) Composites Bootcamps
America's Cutting Edge (ACE) Composites bootcamps offer the hands-on experience of composite technology to those interested in learning more about carbon fiber and fiberglass. Week-long bootcamps, offered several times in the summer, will immerse participants in the world of composite technology at Winona State University, where Composite Engineering has been taught for over 30 years. This program is currently FREE including on-campus housing and food (value of $2,500/person). Travel cost is NOT covered. Participants will run equipment, infuse fabric with resin, assemble a project that they take home, and receive an ACE Composites in Automotive Credly badge. You will need to complete the online composites course and send us the badge of completion prior to the bootcamp date. Anyone that has completed the online content for Unit 2 will be given two weeks advanced notice when registration opens.
