05/21/25 – The amendment changed the wording to provide a strategic work plan instead of a strategic plan, changed the wording to allow for more flexibility for a college or university to adopt their own policy or procedures, and updated and rearranged the wording for better clarity.

04/21/10 - Amendment calls for each college and university to ensure that the information technology planning components of its strategic plan are aligned with system planning goals.

06/21/00 - repeals Board policy 5.1; Contains language formerly in Board policy 1A.9, Part 2.
