06/18/25 – Full Review. This review and amendment involved a significant rewrite of the policy. The policy was renamed to Naming Buildings and Major Public Places. New definitions for Buildings and Major Public Places. The role of Presidents was clarified for naming spaces not considered Buildings or Major Public Places. The Board consultation process was strengthened and aligned to the process used in the Board policy on contract approvals.
