About the Partnership

Five Minnesota State colleges and one university are collaborating with Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) to support their district-wide career pathways initiative to increase equitable outcomes among students through dual credit/dual enrollment opportunities offered at the newly named 3M Advanced Training Center (3MATC) located on the Saint Paul College Campus. With the critical support of 3M’s Skilled Trades grant and in deep partnership with Saint Paul Public Schools, we are opening doors to meaningful careers in high wage, in demand career pathways.

Through this innovative partnership, we are blurring the lines between high school, college, and careers. With the support of 3M, this career pathways initiative is setting the stage for the future as the world of work and our education systems evolve to create thriving communities in an ever-changing world.

This partnership with Minnesota State and Saint Paul Public Schools would not be possible without the generous support of 3M and the active engagement of our college and university partners.

Partnership with industry and public schools

Industry supports educational programs throughout the Saint Paul Public Schools because they care about children and education in the community.
