Finding Your Place OER Text: Stories of Cultural Wealth and Resilience

Background

Faculty and students at Minnesota State University Mankato and Century College are creating and distributing a student-centered, student-produced, Open Educational Resource (OER) text to accompany the Finding Your Place Podcast. As a companion to the podcast, this OER will amplify the stories and strengths of college graduates who, despite facing systemic barriers in our society and our schools, manage to achieve success in college and beyond by drawing on their strengths and cultural wealth. Students who read the texts will benefit as they discover the keys to their resilience and success in the stories of others like them.
