Taking Open Educational Resources to Scale

Anoka-Ramsey Community College

Background

Anoka-Ramsey Community College implemented a four phase approach to encouraging faculty adoption of open textbooks in their courses. In the first phase the college launched a promotional campaign to raise awareness of open textbooks among faculty and staff. In the second phase, participating faculty will attend workshops that prepare them to undertake their own open textbook project. In phase three, participating faculty received seed grants to support the creation of open textbooks. In phase four, faculty will showcase their open textbook project before the college community.
