Masters degrees

Credentialing requirements for teaching at the college or university level are defined by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). If you teach for any of the colleges and universities within the Minnesota State system, qualified faculty must have discipline-specific credentials, including concurrent enrollment instructors.

Master's degrees in Education with "built in" credentialing options are becoming popular. Read about Education degree options at each of our state universities.

*18 graduate credits within each teaching discipline are required to meet credentialing requirements.
