Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Annual Permit A law change now allows institutions that use more than 25 gallons of industrial alcohol to pay no fee (previously a $250 fee was due). However, the system still files an annual application with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). Please contact Tax Services annually prior to May 15th if your institution uses more than 25 gallons of industrial alcohol.
Annual Minnesota Permit to Purchase and/or Possess Ethyl Alcohol The Minnesota Application For Permit To Purchase And/Or Possess Ethyl Alcohol must be filed annually by institutions that purchase and/or possess ethyl alcohol. NO FEE is due with this application (despite indications on the form that a fee is due). Each institution is responsible to download, complete, and file this application with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, if applicable.
