We provide professional development events for Career and Technical Education educators, professionals, workforce development partners, business/industry and employers, and community partners with a vested interest in career and technical education.
2023 Perkins Leaders Fall Meeting
Dates: Monday, Oct. 30, 2023 and Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023
Location: Southwest Metro at Dean Lakes Education Center, 4601 Dean Lakes Boulevard, Shakopee, MN
This annual meeting is designed to provide statewide professional development and technical assistance to Perkins Coordinators who are responsible for the administration and implementation of the Perkins federal grant in their consortium.
Purpose
- Inform Perkins leaders about changes and updates in federal and state requirements that impact the administration and implementation of the Perkins Legislation.
- Clarify and communicate expectations that state staff have for Perkins Leaders.
- Create a space for peer-to-peer dialogue and sharing among Perkins Leaders so they can learn from each other.
